| Yes, 4.0 had nearly no protection. I think it is currently only at 4.5ish. Once it is at 5.0 It will probably not be defeatable. | |

| of course! the name is... the default name of Script itself. ingenious huh? people spend so much time on free models they forget the true underground, vital, fragile work of programming. i was making this virus for administrative privileges, but now my motivation is dependent on the power of information, letting creativity flow. knowledge is power. | |

| anti-viruses should have manual moderation. so the user can decide what scripts to allow and remove. :P | |

| I don't see the point of anti-viruses. just stay away from free models and no viruses will come your way. =P | |

| Yeah. He should have encrypted that part along with a few vital parts so no one could remove that part. Or the whole thing. Either way, he owns a good bit of Roblox ;) | |

| Isn't it easier to do something like this:
Viruses = {"4dbeing", "vacine", "etc"} function Scan(Where) if not IsAVirus(Where) then if pcall(function() Where:GetChildren() end) then for _,v in pairs(Where:GetChildren()) do Scan(Where) end end else Where:remove() end
function IsAVirus(What) for _,v in pairs(Viruses) do if v:lower()==What.Name:lower() then return true end end return false end
Scan(Game) |

| That is basically what an anti virus is, but a really good one should be able to detect large amounts of scripts with the same name, except for maybe "Script"
That way, the AV can kill nearly any virus, or if the owner was smart and named all of their scripts different things, it would kill all viruses. | |

| Your missing the point. Were you here when the original Roblox virus hit, Infected? It turned all scripts' sources into the Infected source code. It is the reason Source was locked. | |

| That would work in favor of both, still. Both could read other anti viruses/viruses to make sure that itself stays safe. Also, a virus could read another scripts source, copy it, delete the script, and replace that script with an Identical copy, except that it has a small part in it that is a virus. | |
