Can the cookie/login expiration be increased?

Hi everyone,

I feel a bit like the cookie expiration, or login timeout (I'm not sure what the official name is) seems a bit short... I don't mean to step on the web master's toes, although I'm more used to times like a week, maybe two, sometimes indefinitely.

Is there any chance the time that we stay logged in could be extended?
