ABAPIALU is an ambitious project I'm working on.

ABAPIALU's code became inefficient and hard to develop not long after starting. I took this as a sign to trash the project, and start on ABAPIALU2. It's sleaker, faster, more efficient, and has better options and whatnot.

Hi! I'm Trappingnoobs, and I'm bringing you an innovative script to control your
place on roblox, and give you a more enjoyable experience.

However, I may warn you of a few things:

If you or your friend is on an ABAPIALU certified ban list,
(These will bring up an ABAPIALU certified pop-up GUI)
then please do not take offense. ABAPIALU bans which are cemented onto the main list
which come with ABAPIALU are apealable. Just Private Message myself, Trappingnoobs.
You may also choose which ban lists to import, something like checkboxes

[X] Import list of exploiters
[X] Import list of mass copiers
[X] Import list of deleters
[X] Import list of spammers
[X] Import list of swearers
Etc.

If you would like to activate or deactivate any feature of ABAPIALU, you may do so
from the GUI. Everything is controled by the GUI.

Now that I've warned you of these, I must also tell you;

This ReadMe is not strictly true. Some things may not be done, but I may speak
in a way which suggests they are done. This is because I don't want to be
coming back and updating this repeatedly. Take the anti ban for example.
As of 04/01/2011, I have no actual way of doing the timed ban. However,
in a few weeks I will be able to activate it, which will update all your
places with ABAPIALU in.

ABAPIALU is a free script to an extent.

It's fully encrypted into lua byte code to stop people vieweing the script, as parts of it
could be classed as a Personal Attack, especially the premade banlist.

Auto Ban is one of the features. It comes prepacked with a list of rule breakers.
All of these people have broken a rule in a place which uses ABAPIALU, or on the forums.

*****Auto Ban also matches names with IPs; meaning you can ban a rule breaker, without worrying
about them coming back as a guest, or on an alt.*****
FEATURE CANCELED.

Auto Ban also uses a smart system which reads the chatlog, and if it detects that a player
might be breaking a rule, it will warn them. If they do not provide a reasonable excuse,
ABAPILU's intelligent (Well actually not intelligent, but lack of better adjectives :P)
scanning system will know and ban them automatically.

Auto Ban also features a timed ban. Is somone being a pest? Keep them out of EVERY
server, not just one, all of them, with the timed ban. Timed ban features a
way of banning a player for a specified amount of time, whether it be seconds,
minutes, or even houts.

Auto Ban also allows you to set it to ban them when they enter, incase they are not
there are that moment in time

An API, or Application Programming Interface can mean one of a few things.

In ABAPIALU, it adds more functionality to your games, which new functions, such as:

shared.Quarantine(Object ToQuarantine)
shared.UninstallABAPIALU(String Reason) Only if script has your ABAPIALU code. Read 4: Release for more information on ABAPIALU codes.
Note: Uninstall is only server-side unless ran in Build mode, Edit mode, or Play Solo mode.
shared.ReinstallABAPIALU(String Reason, Boolean IncludeBanInfo) Server side, requires ABAPIALU code. IncludeBanInfo is permanent for those who enter server.
shared.WarnPlayer(Object Player, Integer WarningPoints) Adds warning points to a player. Must be in server. 5 warning points = Autoban

* Player must be in game for immediate affect, or if they enter the server you are in.

Every downloaded ABAPIALU will have a special code specific to your place.

To make a script 'Allowed' to use certain functions, you must insert an INTEGER value with the code in
INSIDE each script which uses said functions.

Other things require ABAPIALU codes, too.

It will always be free.

Anyone caught claiming ABAPIALU their own will be REPORTED.

Note: I have the power to remove anyone's copy of ABAPIALU
if I see fit. I can make it check who owns the place. If
I think the owner of the place is doing something against this
readme, I'll simply add a GUI in your place saying you
are attempting to abuse ABAPIALU.

ABAPIALU is entirely useless without connection to my models
so don't even TRY it. All my scripts are encrypted so you aint'
reading them or editing anything in or out.

5: Updates?

Yes, ABAPIALU updates. On it's own. Without your help.
ABAPIALU also installs. On it's own. With a little information.

Installs?

Installing ABAPIALU is when you pick the options for the first
time, you can change these later.

Also, the installer places everything where it should be.
EG: the quarantine in the lighting, the GUI in the StarterGui.

Just click next about 40 times, choose your prefferences and done
:)

ABAPIALU can be used to shutdown entire servers of your place,
(But I won't, because revising this it seems a little mean
(And plus it has a cache so I probably couldn't anyway XP))
if you claim credit for ABAPIALU, then I'll just add your
place ID, and it'll update using the InsertService, and boom.
(If I'm allowed to do that, which I'm probably not, so I'll just
go with the GUI thing popping up in the corner. Actualy, I will
just stick with the GUI thing in the corner..)

So follow ABAPIALU's rules. You have been warned. I do NOT
like it when people claim credit for something I worked hard on.

If you find anything rulebreaking about this post, please edit it out, and maybe add a comment. If you don't have enough time, just delete the post, and give me a warning for said reason. I've taken my time to try to avoid breaking any rules, including encrypting all player names.

Some of you may have seen that I'm doing a project to stop complainers, but allow anyone who DOESN'T complain, and guests.

Now, rather than just doing this; I'll actually expand into getting rid of rulebreakers from our games.

Not only this, but you will get a whole PACKAGE of features. Read on!

Why am I reposting?

My last thread was unthoughtfull and stereotypical, and I apologise. For this reason I've refined the idea and came to the conclusion of an automatically updating script to keep out complainers, rulebreakers, exploiters etc. from our places - while still allowing NBC. And not only this!

Features?

GUI admin panel for the people who help- this allows you to add people's names- if anyone is caught revealing the people on the list they will be removed from the GUI immediatly and replaced as the banned. However we cannot do an IP check, like I planned to do, due to it being disallowed.

To be released soon?

Soon I'll expand into speeding up games with my very own snap remover, (And more things which can decrease lag!) including a brand new set of functions as an API - Helping scripters, adding a more user friendly GUI, a virus blocker, and it'll utilise the new methods, allowing you to kick a player out of your game for a specified amount of time.

Example:

(GUI interface)
Ban (Input box name) for (input box days) Days

What else?

No configuring needed! This will automatically update, and it will include or even not include any add-ons I make. There'll be checkboxes.

Example:

[X] Anti-Virus scripts
[] Stop lag
[X] Include preset rulebreaker list
[X] Kick players who seem to be lagging server
[] More checkbox options

(No names on the script will be released; they will all be encrypted to stop PA'ing anyone, meaning noone will know who is actually on the script.)





TL;DR
Multifunctional script which delags your place, deviruses your place, get rulebreakers out of your place, kicks people lagging your place, automatically updates, and makes sure you have a user friendly experience while using it, all features are optional.

I'm also thinking of making it so you can have 3 or 4 chances before you get cemented on the banned list.

Epic idea. I wish could've though of that idea! hmmm, maybe I could make an self-updating smart phone! I'll call it the B-Phone!

My version of this had to use shared, but then I realized the owner could change it if he/she were smart enough. If yours uses shared to keep lists of things the owner might wish to exploit, like unblocking premium features, then I suggest alternate methods.

Core stuff is protected unless you provide a code via a function which then loads a function into the script using setfenv and allows it to edit core stuff.

A massive math library with percentage conversion and stuff
And more

I'm making a GUI OS too :o

But I thought ROBLOX's image and text system were too limited, so I made my own.

It supports letter spacing, mid-sentence colour/font switching, etc.

The font renderer is on showcase on the first page of my games. It's quite cool, but so far only supports some punctuation and capital letters.
